Bird Marella attorneys Benjamin Gluck and Michael Freedman were retained post-sentencing to appeal a twenty-year term of imprisonment. Gluck and Freedman successfully convinced the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals that the trial judge had committed sentencing error and the Ninth Circuit reversed the sentence.
