Los Angeles – Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks, Lincenberg & Rhow, P.C. today issued the following notice of filing:
Today the creator and four producers of the television series The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and The Talking Dead filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against AMC Film Holdings and AMC Networks Inc., among other parties, alleging in part:
- Breach of Contract;
- Inducing Breach of Contract;
- Violation of Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code 17200; and
- Secondary Liability for Violation of Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code 17200
The Plaintiffs in the California action and a to be filed New York action include Robert Kirkman, who created the Walking Dead comic books and acts as an executive producer for the television series, executive producer Gale Ann Hurd, executive producer David Alpert, and former executive producers Glen Mazzara and Charles Eglee.
