Bird Marella is proud to announce the elevation of attorney Elliot C. Harvey Schatmeier to principal, effective January 1, 2023.
Since joining the firm in 2018 as an associate, Mr. Harvey Schatmeier has established a successful practice trying and arbitrating complex business disputes. Mr. Harvey Schatmeier also maintains a robust pro bono practice. He has experience representing clients involved in a wide variety of industries, including banking, securities, technology, real estate, healthcare, entertainment, and cannabis industries, and has achieved recent notable victories for financial institutions and broker-dealers in multi-million-dollar matters.
Mr. Harvey Schatmeier has roots in the Los Angeles Latino legal community. He serves as a Board Member of the Los Angeles Center for Law and Justice, which provides aid to victims of domestic violence in the Latino community. He also is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Mexican American Bar Association. At Bird Marella, Mr. Harvey Schatmeier serves as a member of the firm’s diversity committee.
