The facility, A Better Tomorrow, and four of its employees are currently facing second-degree murder charges in connection with a resident death in 2010.
The matter has sent shock waves through California’s ever-growing drug and alcohol rehabilitation industry, as it is the first time in California history that a substance abuse treatment center has been accused of murder.
