Former United States District Judge and Founding Principal (now Senior Counsel) A. Howard Matz has been inducted into the College of Commercial Arbitrators (CCA). The CCA is an invitation-only national organization of commercial arbitrators, promoting the highest standards of conduct, professionalism and ethical practices for arbitrators who serve the public in dispute resolution. Besides providing peer training and professional development, the College also prepares and publishes the widely-recognized “Guide to Best Practices in Commercial Arbitration,” now in its Fourth Edition, as well as “The CCA Protocols for Expeditious, Cost-Effective Commercial Arbitration.” In addition to serving as a Fellow in the College, Judge Matz has remained active in the American College of Trial Lawyers since his induction in 2017.
