Bird Marella attorneys Nicole Rodriguez Van Dyk, Kimberley Miller, Fanxi Wang, and Gopi Panchapakesan have been selected by Super Lawyers as 2018 Rising Stars. This is the third consecutive year that both Nicole (white-collar litigation) and Kimberley (white-collar litigation) have been selected. This is the first year that Fanxi (business litigation) and Gopi (business litigation) have been selected.
In addition to her Rising Stars selection, Nicole is listed among the “Up-and-Coming 100” and the “Up-and-Coming 50: 2018 Women Southern California Rising Stars,” distinctions awarded to attorneys who received the highest point total during the selection process.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. While up to five percent of the lawyers in the state are named to Super Lawyers, no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list.
