Bird Marella Ranks Near the Top in Diversity Survey

Bird Marella is proud to have been recently recognized for the diversity among its attorneys. A Law360 survey of over 300 law firms identified Bird Marella as the firm with the second highest percentage of attorneys who are women of color among all firms nationwide (at almost 31% compared to the national average of 8%). The firm was also recognized as among the top three “Best Law Firms for Minority Attorneys” in the United States among firms ranging in size from 20 to 149 attorneys (with nearly 54% minority attorneys). Law360 has repeatedly named Bird Marella as one of the “10 Boutiques Giving Big Firms A Run For Their Money.”

Law360 surveyed more than 300 U.S. firms, or vereins with a U.S. component, about their overall and minority headcount numbers as of December 31, 2017. Only U.S.-based attorneys were included in the survey, and firms had to have at least 20 U.S.-based attorneys to participate.
