Bird Marella attorneys Gary Lincenberg, Paul Chan, and Kimmy Yu successfully defended an independent aerospace manufacturing company in a long-running employment suit. The plaintiff, a former employee, alleged disability discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other claims following his termination after being on leave for over two years.
After multiple demurrers, the Los Angeles County Court ruled in favor of Bird Marella’s client, dismissing the case without leave to amend.
The victory follows the successful defense of the manufacturer in a 2014 employment dispute.
