Managing Principal Paul Chan will be a featured speaker at the Federal Bar Association’s 2020 Qui Tam Conference in Washington, D.C. Chan will serve as moderator on the panel discussion “AseraCare and the Future of Medical Necessity Cases” on February 27. The expert panel will explore the continued evolution of the medical necessity doctrine, in the wake of the Eleventh Circuit’s long-awaited decision in United States v. AseraCare, Inc., and also discuss the future of health care fraud cases involving medical judgments.
