Bird Marella Quashes Grand Jury Subpoena Served on Attorney in Federal Tax Fraud Investigation

In a pre-indictment tax fraud investigation where the client, a tax attorney is a subject and his client is the target of the investigation, Bird Marella attorneys Ron Nessim and Kimberley Miller defeated a motion filed by the United States Attorney’s Office which sought to compel the client to produce documents and provide testimony in response to a federal grand jury subpoena.
