Partner Michael Landman, a former federal prosecutor, contributed his thoughts in the Law360 article, “US Attys To Shift Focus Amid Questions Of Staffing, Politics.”
In the piece, Mr. Landman provided insight into the future of the DOJ’s focus on hot-button issues, including an increased priority in immigration-related prosecutions, a decrease in white collar prosecutions, and a lower priority in civil rights enforcement matters.
Mr. Landman shared, “[President Trump’s recent pardons and firing of federal prosecutors that worked on prosecutions of President Trump] only adds to the growing concern about the new administration’s weaponization and politicization of the Justice Department.”
