Principal Nicole Rodriguez Van Dyk has been named among Benchmark Litigation‘s national list of Top 250 Women in Litigation.
The list features the top women lawyers “from across the U.S. who have earned their place by participating in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history, as well as by earning the hard-won respect of their peers and clients as top players in their respective fields.”
Ms. Van Dyk consistently achieves successful outcomes for her clients. Her practice concentrates on white collar defense with a significant portion dedicated to defending health care providers in state and federal criminal cases.
Recently, Ms. Van Dyk, along with a Bird Marella team, won the dismissal of a criminal healthcare fraud complaint after five years of litigation, defeating charges from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for all defendants. Last June, she was also part of a trial team that won the dismissal of a fraud indictment against an advertising executive. She and her team secured the decisive victory before a single witness took the stand, which involved no admission of any culpability, no payment of any fine, and no probation.
Benchmark Litigation first recognized Ms. Van Dyk in its Top 250 Women in Litigation list in 2021 and previously named her among its 40 & Under list for five consecutive years. Most recently, Ms. Van Dyk was recognized in the Daily Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list, named a Law360 Rising Star, and ranked among Chambers USA’s leading white collar litigators for the third year.
